SCHURRTOP GENETIC EDGE

Schurrtop GENETIC EDGE has made his mark as the next total performance, carcass and maternal sire used here at Schurrtop. His sire, WCR Sir Duke 8841, is a full brother to WCR Sir Duke "783" and is one of the best marbling sires ever used at our ranch. His dam is a top producing, thick, deep bodied female that is sired by Intimidator. His first calves will sell in our 2003 yearling sale with several herd bull prospects available. SCHURRTOP HCR RANCHER

A top performance and carcass sire with all the extras. He is powerfully muscled with extra rib and volume. He continues to sire progeny with above average muscle and marbling and his sons have topped Hubert and Schurrtop sales. Rancher is leased to the Accelerated Genetics AI company.

3001 is a polled, consistently moderate birth weight, all around performance sire with more muscle and growth than his sire. He is a  smooth and thick muscled  bull who is deep bodied and easy fleshing in a moderate framed package. His carcass info is very impressive for muscle, marbling and fat.

SIGNATURE is the powerful, performance and phenotypic standout of the 2000 Schurrtop sale where 1/2 interest in him sold to Ramber Charolais for $16,800. His first progeny are fast growing, long bodied and powerful. His dam is a proven, heavy milking, big bodied female who has never missed.

EXCEL is the top ultrasounding bull for a combination of big ribeye, high marbling and low fat from the 2000 bull sale where he was the second high selling bull to Strnad Brothers. He has a very high probabability of being homozygous polled and is as thick, shapely and easy calving as any herd sire we are using.

This is the best combination of muscle, marbling, leaness and performance of the 99 calf crop and is passing on these traits. His progeny are thick and clean made with extra performance, muscle and marbling. His dam is a top producing daughter of 8841, the super marbling and total performance sire.

A 783 son that was the high selling bull in our 90 sale. He is now deceased, but he has become a very popular bull breed wide for his moderate birth weights, maternal strength, muscle and total performance. He is the sire of Schurrshot and Wyoming Wind . There is only a very limited amount of semen available. His daughters are tremendous producers. They have produced sons such as Schurrtop MCF New Trend and Schurrtop 9333.

SCHURRTOP E423

This high performance sire is the next step of carcass and total performance genetics. Like his sire "V351", he was the top carcass ultrasound, high growth and short gestation phenotypic standout of his contemporary group. He has an awesome amount of muscle, volume and mass. He is shapely from end to end, wide based and his expression of muscle down his butterfly top and through his rump and quarter is impressive. He is extra gentle and tame, has a large scrotal, super clean sheath and comes from 2 plus generations of polled genetics. He scanned both a large ribeye and high marbling and he puts all this into a sound, attractive and eye appealing package.

SCHURRTOP EASE 8953 P

8953 is a true light BW and total performance sire that covers all the bases from birth to carcass. All his calves have been polled. His dam is a tremendous producing 783 daughter with a super udder and a lot of feminity  who has never missed. 8953 was the high selling bull in our 97 sale. Owned with Praire Valley Charolais. The GENEX AI company recently purchased 3/4 semen interest in 8953.

SCHURRTOP  INTIMIDATOR

The 99 Charolais carcass sire summary places Intimidator at the top for a combination of muscle, marbling, and fat. In addition he is a commercial cattleman's kind of bull, easy calving, fast growing, homozygous polled, thick, moderate framed and his calves have excellent vigor and get up and grow. Intimidator sired steers were the Res. Champions over all breeds at the 95 Great Western Beef Expo. His daughters are tremendous producers of high quality total performance offspring. Intimidator is the sire of the mothers of several bulls selling. More Intimidators are being born at Schurrtop each year.

SCHURRTOP 3001 "V271" P/S

Both V271 and 8953 are calving ease, powerful performance bulls from the same powerful Dam. She is a nice uddered production oriented female that adds carcass merit to all her progeny. Genex AI company has purchased 3/4 semen interest in 8953 and reports from across the country have been impresive from his offspring. Both sires, sire thick, moderate framed, high performing and attractive progeny.

SCHURRTOP JK 3001 "2176"

2176 was a phenotypic standout with tremendous growth, ribeye, muscle and total performance. He is a long bodied structurally correct bull with extra eye appeal. His dam is a picture perfect nice uddered and powerful producer. He was the second high selling bull in our 99 sale and is co-owned with Broberg Charolais.

SCHURRTOP Y416 "V721" P

This sire we retained for his extra body width, depth, fleshing ability and muscle volume. He is very massive, moderate framed and thick made. His dam is a super productive Schurrtop 5627 daughter that also raised the bred heifer we sold in the 2001 Charolais National Sale.

SCHURRTOP JK 5627 "2201" P

A paternal brother to both Wyoming Wind and Schurrshot. This bull is a light birth weight, high performing sire that is adding extra rib, shape, muscle and fleshing ability to his progeny. His dam is a Mr. Perfect daughter that is also the dam of the 2112 sire that has progeny in this sale. She is a powerful producer of muscle, body, maternal and total performance. this young sire has a big future at Schurrtop.
