Schurrtop Places In Top Ten At Beef Empire Days
Schurrtop Angus & Charolais recently had good success at the 2004 Beef Empire Days in Garden City, KS. Placing 7th overall in the carcass division was a purebred Angus Heifer sired by the all-around maternal and carcass great Blevins Schurrtop Solution. She graded average Choice and had a Yield Grade 2.04 to give her the top ten finish.
Another heifer that had good success was tag number 528. She was a Charolais X Angus "Smokey" sired by Schurrtop E423. This heifer graded Prime with a Yield grade of 3.08. She had an overall carcass value of $1308.83.
